We now have teams!

So, the teams have been assigned and the coaches have been notified.  You should receive a call/email/text from your player’s coach.  If you do not hear from your coach by Thursday, please contact us using the Contact Us page.  Give us your name, your child’s name, and your email address.  We will get back to you as soon as we can.

Be sure to check out the Calendar for the dates and times of practices and games.  In general, practices will be Thursday at 6:30.  We will get the game times soon.

Practice Begins This Thursday!

The 2017 season officially kicks off this Thursday, March 9, rain or shine.  In the event that the field is to wet to practice, we will meet in the gym which is located in the back of the church.

We are planning on a combined practice, breaking off into various small groups.  We plan on having more info for you that night too.

We look forward to seeing everyone on Thursday.

Its Not Over Yet

Chances are we will be getting more rain tonight.  That said, the fields are just barely dry now.  So we have decided to extend the season 2 more weeks.  What that means is that the awards celebration that were had planned for May 1 has been moved to May 15.  We will play the 2 makeup games one on  5/7 and the other on 5/14.

We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused.  The good news it’s that it gives the soccer player(s) in your house 2 more weeks to learn the memory verses.  If you need the verses, check out our Verse Recap post where we give you all four verses on one place.

If you have any questions, please contact your coach.

Verse Recap

Here are the four verses the coaches have gone over with the players.  They should be ready to recite them to head referee and Pastor, Brother Jerry Mayfield, starting at our next practice.

James 1:19 (NIrV)
Everyone should be quick to listen. But they should be slow to speak.  They should be slow to get angry.

Philippians 4:11(b) (NIrV)
I have learned to be content no matter what happens to me.

Romans 14:19 (NIrV)
So let us do all we can to live in peace.  And let us work hard to build up one another.

John 3:16 (NIrV)
For God so loved the world that he have his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not parish but have everlasting life.
